If you have already tried to disassociate and reassociate the new user
and it didn't work, you could try grafting the new NDS user name with
the new GW counterpart. This has worked for me when all else has
failed.

I've encountered the condition suggested before and no problems were
found in handling the changes. However, this time, the original
account
name was renamed to the new. C1 says it syncs fine. In C1, the NEW
name shows everywhere just fine - the Groupwise account name shows the

NEW name, the Groupwise view shows the new, the eDir account object
shows the new. BUT, if I bring up the GW client and check the address

book, there it still shows the old name, no new. Email will go to the

OLD account but the new one does not exist and does not get delivered.

GWCHECK cannot find the new name but will work with the old original
name. At this point I cannot see or work with the old name since C1
thinks it's renamed. I can't add her NEW account to Groupwise since C1

thinks it exists already. Once we save her email, I'd like to just
remove the old account but.... it's lost...

May be time for a phone call...
