Derek, my sincere apologies.
I don't know how that happened.
I make it a point of always testing on my local machine before doing a 'cvs commit' - \
and I always put in comments. And my office desktop nextgen was not 'broken' by the \
addition of this function - it worked fine. 

Something strange must be going on.
