My arguments are hard coded.  I have been using the default command file
that comes with plug-ins 1.2.9-4.  For reference it looks like this:

command[check_ping]=/usr/local/netsaint/libexec/check_ping -H $HOSTADDRESS$
-w 10:20% -c 60:100%

Are your arguments in the service[xxx] definitions being accepted by your 
command definition via $ARGx$ or does the command definition have hard 
coded options?
