This worked...

Recompile the netsaint-plugins with the following configuration:
# make clean
# ./configure --with-ping-command="/bin/ping -U -n %s -c %d"
# make all
# make install

Depends on your OS.  You can get a patch for the check_ping plugin or
you can change the ping syntax using the --with-ping-command directive
in configure.  Search the archives to find the details of both.  This is
a common problem.

How do I fix this?  Using Netsaint 0.0.7 w/ plugins 1.2.9-4

Shouldn't it look like this?
