Hello,

I'm getting the following error when running check_snmp:

  host(netsaint) ./check_snmp myhost -o .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.9.1.10.1 -w 10 -c
5 -C mycommunity
SNMP problem - No data recieved from host
  CMD: /usr/local/bin/snmpget -m ALL -v 1 myhost mycommunity
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.9.1.10.1

but the snmpget CMD string works ok when manually run:

  host(netsaint) /usr/local/bin/snmpget -m ALL -v 1 myhost mycommunity
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.9.1.10.1
  enterprises.ucdavis.dskTable.dskEntry.dskPercentNode.1 = 12

system info:

  check_snmp (netsaint-plugins 1.2.9-4) 1.21.2.5
  Solaris 8, Sparc
  UCD-snmp version: 4.2.3

find/fix attempts:

http://www.geocrawler.com/archives/3/736/2001/8/0/6342925/ :
-- cut --
after some mighty heavy searching a coworker found a place where the
line input was limited to 128.
in the souce in plugins directory is a file called 'utils.c' in that
file is a parameter for TXTBLK.
define TXTBLK 256

it was set to 128. i set it to 256 and recompiled. everything works
fine now.
-- cut --

I recompiled, but no change in results.

I've used this before on a FreeBSD box and it worked great.

Thanks much,

~scott
