Howdy,
I've searched through the list archives and found nothing regarding this issue
really. I am running check_disk (and other commands) remotely on several Solaris
and FreeBSD machines. The Solaris machines report back fine, but with my
FreeBSD boxes it always returns critical because of the /proc filesystem.
On a Solaris box a df -k looks like:

Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0     481316   47102  386083    11%    /
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s6    5040814 1660116 3330290    34%    /usr
/proc                      0       0       0     0%    /proc
<--snip-->

But on a FreeBSD box it looks like:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
/dev/ad0s1a    198399    81020   101508    44%    /
/dev/ad0s1e    291839      539   267953     0%    /var
procfs              4        4        0   100%    /proc
<--snip-->

So, understandably check_disk reports back CRITICAL on the FreeBSD box. Is
there a way to ignore the /proc filesystem? If there isn't shouldn't there be?
