Dear Sir,

I am writing to say that you may want to

1 Try and determine if this is a system prooblem (upgrade went haywire
somehow) before proceeding down the debug route (SEGVs mean coding
problems __or__ hardware if the system is stressed)

You could try this by,

1.1 Download Nag
1.2 Configure and make (without any options to configure - you simply
want a binary)
1.3 Fire it up in the build directory, maybe with a sample config

If this SEGVs and you think it unlikely that config is at fault, then
you may have to look elsewhere.

2 Otherwise, if you want to continue with Netsaint debugging,

You should be getting symbols in the binary (line numbers and C
statements).

What happens after you type l 1,10 in gdb (before r) ?

Do you see

Do you have a programmer locally you can ask for assistance ?

Yours sincerely.

continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a
manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes
me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know
for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...'
