the output is "file /usr/lib/libgd.so.1 is not owned by any package" as you
wrote in your other mail.

So, the problem is: the gd-1.8.3.-4.rpm package, which comes with the Red
Hat 7.0 version, not includes the file libgd.so.1. And the rpm's install
script examines the rpm database, not the installed libraries in the
directories. So, I must install a "modified" gd rpm.

What do you get with `rpm -qf /usr/lib/libgd.so.1`
