Thank you Ryo, that is very useful to know. In the past I have
used some USB 1.1 webcams using drivers written by Mizuno Takafumi
but one of those has failed and I think it's time I upgraded to
something more modern. I will look for 'USB video class' on the
box.

I am using some USB Video class webcams with NetBSD/amd64 current.
For example,
* iBUFFALO BSW13K08H
* Logitech C300
I have many pre-USB video class webcams,
however they require USB isochronous transfer support...
