Hello,

I'm using the Snap font for titlebars and menus.
Just in NetBSD the Snap font looks different than in FreeBSD.
Also Helvetica looks different in NetBSD than in FreeBSD.

The font path is
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/artwiz/
/usr/opt/icewm-1.2.9/share/icewm/themes/Infadel2

The only extension that FreeBSD has loaded in addition to those of
NetBSD is DEC-XTRAP.
XFree86 is version 4.3.0.1.
NetBSD is 1.6ZK. it was upgraded from 1.6.2-release.

What can be the reason that the snap font looks strange in NetBSD?
