I got this one again, after torturing last night's kernel for a few  
hours. On reboot it took only minutes to trigger it again, this time  
it came with some graphical garbage and half-drawn characters - maybe  
something is just getting too hot. I'll check if it behaves any  
different with a cg6 instead of the Leo.
