Certainly.

1.4		netbsd-1-4-RELEASE
1.4.1		netbsd-1-4-PATCH001
1.4-willbe-2	netbsd-1-4

The latter is the "1.4 release branch tag".  When 1.4.2 is
released, it will be tagged with netbsd-1-4-PATCH002.
