I can report that if you download straight XFree86 4.0.1 and compile as much
as you can using make -k you get enough stuff to allow Xvnc to work with twm
and the basic X utilities. I have this displaying now on my Windows 2000
laptop:

What's up with pthreads? Who can I help make that go?
