hi all..

trying to install postgresql (as root) i get:
===> Installing for postgresql-6.4.2
addnerd: addnerd: [Error] can't mkdir '/usr/pkg/pgsql'

i can circumvent this by doing a manual
addnerd -h /usr/pkg -g ingres pgsql
after that install goes ok.

but to be more and more correct..
the question arises..why doesn't it work 'out of the package'?

is it correct this is more a netbsd-help than a tech-pkg question?
i mean tech-pkg is more about the general package behaviour?

as maintainer postgresql shows packages@netbsd.org
is that cause it's a collective efford? other reason?

please respond to noud@axxes.be cause i'm not subscribed to the list
thanx,
~n
