I'm by no means an expert on netatalk, but are you sure about that  
one? Whilst at the moment I don't have a linux host that has two  
interfaces on it (i'll get one more tomorrow morning to experiment  
with) if I do a 'netstat -a' it indicates to me that afpd is binding  
to all interfaces.
