Didier:

My apology for late reply because I was sick.

Here is the info that may be helpful to you:

1. Compiler options:

CFLAGS=-O2 -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -fomit-frame-pointer -fsigned-char
  ./configure
	--without-logfile
	--prefix=/
	--with-config-dir=/etc
	--with-uams-path=/etc/netatalk/uams
	--with-pam --with-flock-locks
	'--with-cflags=-I../../../../include -I../../../../include/db4 -DHAVE_USABLE_ICONV'
	--enable-redhat
	--with-ssl-dir=/root/WAVE/netatalk/../devel/gen

2. afpd ran on a modified version of Redhat based on Linux kernel 2.4.19,
Pentium 4, 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 2.8 TB space.

3. afpd was used mainly in Mac environments

If you need more info, please let me know.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hoc
