Hi everyone

I've been following the installation instructions to install Netatalk
on CentOS 5.4 64bit but I'm coming unstuck at trying to point the
Netatalk configure script to my BerkeleyDB headers

I've basically followed this guide:

I built and installed BerkeleyDB to its default location which on
CentOS came out at
/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8
I tried compiling BerkeleyDB with the --disable-shared option also with no luck

When it comes to running the Netatalk configure script with the
--with-bdb=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8 option, the configure fails with
the error that it can't find the BerkeleyDB headers

I have also tried this:

... But with no luck

Under /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/include I have the following files:
db_cxx.h and db.h
Under /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib I have the following files:
libdb-4.8.a and libdb.a

Is there somewhere else I should be installing BerkeleyDB to with the
--prefix option that Netatalk would pick up straight away?
Do I need to create some symlinks to get Netatalk to find the files?

Please help - this is pretty urgent and driving me a bit nuts!
I've only ever installed Netatalk under Ubuntu and that was as
painless as it gets. This is proving pretty tough work.
