Hello,

I'm planning a migration from a Irix/XFS/K-AShare fileserver to
Linux/XFS/Netatalk. I plan on taking the data disk right out of the
Irix box and using it in Linux. My question is, how can a easily
convert the Mac resource and icon information from K-Ashare to
Netatalk/Appledouble? Is this even feasable? Or should I plan on moving
all 64GB of data up to a Mac then back down to Linux/Netatalk to
rebuild resource information?

I'm handy with scripting, so I could write the scripts myself. I'm just
not sure how the Mac resource information is stored in each filesharing
package.
