Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for the following
problem...

We have a library management system called AccessIT which is written in
the 4D database environment. It has a most bizarre way of working - there
is a dedicated database server machine but each client also keeps a
complete copy of the data locally and the DBMS somehow keeps them all in
sync.

Anyway, these local copies actually live on a Netatalk server so users can
dign on anywhere. As of Netatalk 1.6, the system no longer works... error
received in AccessIT is as follows:

Error #-9939 The plug-in method cannot be executed.

This happens regardless of DID method used on the server... Netatalk 1.5.x
still works perfectly.

Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated.
