Ok. I cant change templates so easily, but if that's the only way out, I would. 

Can you tell me why changing the configuration file will enable "in_addr_t" to be \
found ? I even tried editing net_snmp_config.h to HAVE_INADDR_T as 0 but still did \
not work.
