I'm not sure I understand your question. I'm assuming that you have a sub-
agent that was built using net-snmp (or ucd-snmp), and you want to update it.
I'm also assuming that you want to update your own, vendor specific mib, and
not a standard one or from another company.

Is the node a scalar object in the mib, or a row in a table? Either way, add
the new object to the mib, add code to the sub-agent to handle the value,
and recompile the subagent.
