Summary: something wrong when installing openssl

Initial Comment:
When I execute tar -xf openssl-0.9.6.tar,it displays 
that "...../Mkefile:can't create symlink to 
makefile.ssl.What's wrong with it?My platform is 
Redhat6.2.

Sounds like a permissions issue.  But this is nothing to do
with the net-snmp project, so I am closing this support
request.
