Summary: SIGHUP causes snmptrapd to close and reopen log file
Initial Comment:
snmptrapd does not provide a mechanism to close and re-open the log file. This makes \
log rotation problematic as the daemon must be stopped and then restarted. During \
this time, traps can be lost. I've modified snmptrapd to close and re-open the \
logfile upon receipt of a SIGHUP. By using a tool such as logrotate and its \
postrotate script, the logs can be safely rotated without any downtime from the \
daemon.
I've also included a doc patch as well.
