     Check out the sample graph from the NET-SNMP tutorial:
http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/tutorial/tutorial-4/mrtg/kontor.cpu.html

     Compare that with 'My' user vs. idle:

http://cytrex.cytelcom.com/cgi-bin/14all.cgi?log=asterisk_user_idle

     My idle shows NaN. But if I query it directly:

[root@cytrex2 asterisk]# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public local ssCpuRawIdle.0
UCD-SNMP-MIB::ssCpuRawIdle.0 = Counter32: 226102585

     MRTG is probably graphing correctly. My concern is that if you look
at this graph of mine:

http://cytrex.cytelcom.com/cgi-bin/14all.cgi?log=asterisk_user_system

     Which is User vs. System, you can see that the system usage never
drops below 10%. I watched this system last night using "top" and never
once did my idle time get below 98% for the 15 min I watched it. Even my
load avgs where all 0.
