Summary: authorizationError while using snmpget

Initial Comment:
I have configured an SNMPv3 agent in Linux.When I give 
a snmpget command from my prompt authorizationError is 
received.
Can anybody help me in locating the problem and 
solving the same.

Most likely this is due to the fact that you failed to put 
in a "rwuser" line into your /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf file.  
It sounds like you've created the user ok, because you 
didn't get an authenticationError but got an 
authorizationError instead.  See the 
/usr/doc/ucd-snmp-4.2*/README.snmpv3 file for more 
information.
