Summary: Omission in asn1.h prevents compilation
Initial Comment:
The following line must be added to asn1.h for
proper compilation:
#include <sys/types.h>
Reason: asn1.h defines oid in terms of u_char or
u_long which are defined in sys/types.h but not
in asn1.h

Can you tell me which file it is that failing to compile?
All of the C files themselves should include sys/types.h.
We intentionally do not include include files within our
own include files.
