When trying to install the 5.5 binary on Windows 2000, the following error appears:

This version of Net-SNMP 5.5.0 requires Windows 2000 or higher. For Windows NT and \
lower, please use Net-SNMP 5.4

I have the same problem.

Windows 2000 Server (German Edition). An information if it should generally
work would be fine.
