Summary: Multi Var binding fails (Snmp 5.3.x)

Initial Comment:
Hi All,

I am new to netsnmp.

While setting two scalar mib objects through the Multi var binding we are seeing some \
following issues.

1) If we are trying to set the two scalar mib objects with wrong values (ex. out of \
range or invalid values), it is returning success for both mib objects. But the \
values are not setted in the mib objects.

2) Same results we are seeing when trying to set the two scalar mib objects with \
different type (Ex. if one mib object type is INT32 trying to set with Gauge).

Ex: -

Mibobject Type Range
A UINT32 1-10
B INT32 10-20

Trying to set the objects with
A INT32 11
B Gauge 25
Error Status: success

Can any body please give the solution for this problem

Thanks,
Venugopal

Message:
The Net-SNMP version you're using is quite old. The 5.0.x and 5.1.x
branches have already been declared end-of-life and won't receive any
further development or bug fixes (except for major security issues).

Please retest with current code (see
http://www.net-snmp.org/dev/schedule.html and
http://www.net-snmp.org/download.html) and report back.
