Initial Comment:
Under the 4.2.x series of net-snmp and its perl modules, 
you could lookup a numeric OID in %SNMP::MIB and it 
would return itself.  This was handy to check the validity 
of an OID, as you would compare the OID to the 
objectID value of the returned NODE structure.  In 
5.0.8, that's broken.  %SNMP::MIB{&lt;numeric_oid&gt;} 
returns undef.
