Initial Comment:
When trying to build RPMs for Net-SNMP 5.4.2 on CentOS 4.x with the spec file in \
dist/, I got the following error:

Finding  Provides: /usr/lib/rpm/find-provides
error: Couldn't exec /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/net-snmp-5.4.2/dist/find-requires: \
Permission denied getOutputFrom(): Broken pipe

Build command is:

rpmbuild -ba net-snmp.spec

This is due to the fact that dist/find-requires is not executable.

On a related note, you probably also want to make dist/extractnews executable as \
well.
