Summary: install win32 binary
Initial Comment:
5.4.1 07-27-2007, windows binary install (net-snmp-5.4.1-1.win32.exe) experienced 2 problems (so far)
1. install did not save original path env correctly: got
%PATH%;foo instead of c:\windows;c:\windows\system32;blahblahblah;foo
2. The perl ppm file did not have the code base href defined
was ""
sb "x86/NetSNMP.tar.gz"
my OS: windows xp, version 2002, sp2

Thanks for the response. I did not try to install more than once.
Everything worked fine once I restored my path so I did not experiment. I
may have had another command window open. I can try any experiments you
think would be useful.

Does the path problem happen every time? Did you have a command prompt
open when you ran the installation?
