Hi,

[version used : 5.4, System Linux (shouldn't matter)]

The remote_port value of the "struct snmp_session" is not used anymore, replaced by \
host:port in the peername. The problem is that it is not indicated anywhere \
(snmp_api.h, snmp_api.c, snmpdemoapp.c on web site). I spent some time to search why \
this wasn't working!

I think it could be a good idea to update at least snmp_api.h, saying "remote_port" \
is not used anymore, replaced by host:port in peername.

Hope this post will save some time to others.

Thanks for the bug report!
We've fixed the problem in the 5.2.x, 5.3.x
and 5.4.x code branches and the main development
tree, so it should be fixed in future releases
of the Net-SNMP package.
