Summary: community name is not set on Mac OSX 10.4

Initial Comment:
In my application's code, I include net-snmp and set the community name.
session.community = "public";

And run the application on Mac OSX 10.3 and 10.4
On Mac OSX 10.3, the application is correctly operated but not on 10.4.

I captured the snmp packet using ethereal.

In 10.3 snmp packet, community name is set "public".
But community name is not set ("") in 10.4 snmp packet.

It is same code but i don't know why community name is not set.

I think it is library bug.

On Mac OSX 10.3 usr/lib
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel      18  8 Feb 14:02 libnetsnmp.5.0.8.dylib -> libnetsnmp.5.dylib
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  404544 13 Sep  2003 libnetsnmp.5.dylib
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel      22  8 Feb 14:02 libnetsnmp.dylib -> libnetsnmp.5.0.8.dylib

On Mac OSX 10.4 usr/lib
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel  933964 Jul  2  2006 libnetsnmp.5.2.1.dylib
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel      22 Mar 19 11:20 libnetsnmp.5.dylib -> libnetsnmp.5.2.1.dylib
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel      22 Mar  6 18:59 libnetsnmp.dylib -> libnetsnmp.5.2.1.dylib

How can i solve this problem?

If you want bug fixes for 5.2.1, please get and compile 5.2.4.pre3 (or
later) and report back. If you want a fixed native OSX package, report to
Apple instead.
