Hi,
I'm using a old version 5.2.1, but I tried 5.2.2 and 5.3.0.1.
I use snmpd as a master agent and another program as a subagent.
This subagent is handling perfectly its job, but sometimes, the answer
to a request may be long and there are some retries.
Normally, the request-id is not incremented, but in a case, it is.
When I am doing some SET request, the subagent enters is RESERVE1, after
ACTION. And the pdu->reqid is changed. Any time the SET is retryinh, we
have a different request-id.
Note: In GET, GETNEXT, it works perfectly (the request-id is same on
retries).
Am I wrong?
Regards,
Gilles
