>Summary: 5.2.1.2 no wrap around when UINT_MAX reached?

Initial Comment:
net-snmp version: 5.2.1 (rpm -q = net-snmp-5.2.1.2-fc3)
OS: Fedora Core 3 (uname -a = 2.6.12-1.1381.FC3.R4smp)

Caused by (at least) SNMP OID

.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.59.0 (Raw Interrupts)
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.60.0 (Raw Context Switches)
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.13.15.1.1 (UCD-DISKIO-MIB)

On either a 32-bit or 64-bit Linux box these queries
return 0 if *real* value is > (2**32) - 1

See /proc/partitions for 2.4 or /proc/diskstats for 2.6
re the UCD-DISKIO-MIB. If more than 4G has been written
to the queried partition it returns 0. Same for reads.

Perhaps this should be done differently? Maybe kbytes
instead of bytes for a start?

Regards,

Jim

There have been significant fixes wrt. UINT_MAX wrap around
since 5.2.1, although I'm not sure whether the ucd-snmp mib
modules have been revised also. Can you please try 5.2.2 or,
preferrably, 5.3.0.1 to see whether things are fixed there?
