NET-SNMP version:  5.1.3.1
SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, SP2 on x86_64.

Shortly after startup (~5s) snmpd crashes, usually in
free(). With Electric Fence, it consistently crashes
with the following stack trace:

It appears that request->subtree is a stale pointer.

We tried the latest SuSE SLES9-SP3-patch (Version: 5.1.3.1,
Release: 0.6), but the error ist still there.

I'd like to try 5.1.4, but can't find a place to d/l it.

Please try a 5.1.x CVS snapshot from
http://www.net-snmp.org/nightly/tarballs/ . IIRC this
problem has been fixed in CVS already.
