Dear Sirs,

As described in RFC2790 (Host Resources MIB),
hrSWRunName entries are String with (0 to 64 chars).

In our instalation (Solaris 7 - NetSNMP 5.0.7), we are
getting until 15 chars.

attempt to get hrSWRunName longer 15 bytes with version 
5.1.1 failed.
Did anyone have an idea?

closed because buffer size is not restrictive (1024 bytes).
Code in V5-0-patches is similar to V5-1-patches in this regard.

The internal buffer used to hold the value is now 1024 octets,
which should be large enough.

Please retest using the latest version 5.1.1, now available
in pre-release
at http://www.net-snmp.org/download

this object is an InternationalDisplayString.
Do the values you want to see include whitespace,
or do they contain characters that are not in
the 7-bit USASCII character set ?
