Summary: dlmod unavailable on SuSE, Red Hat, Solaris 8 in 5.0.8

Initial Comment:
Hallo everybody,

I am not able to get dlmod working, it is apparently
not available in net-snmp-5.0.8. I tried net-snmp-5.0.8
on Suse 7.3, Red Hat 7-2, Solaris 8 (with forte 6u2).
Although net-snmp-conf lists ucd-snmp/dlmod on all
three OS I get

Reason: notWritable (that object does not support
modification)
Failed object: UCD-DLMOD-MIB::dlmodName.1

However I don't get such error with ucd-snmp 4.2.3 ....

Either I am doing something wrong or something bad
happened to 5.0.8 release.

Thanx a lot and best regards, vadim tarassov.

Please try applying the attached patch to configure, and
re-running configure. Verify that configure detected dlmod
functionality with grep:

dev $ grep HAVE_DL include/net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h
/* #undef HAVE_DLOPEN */
#define HAVE_DLFCN_H 1

dev $ patch -p 0 < /tmp/config-dlmod.patch
patching file configure

dev $ rm config.cache && ./configure ...
<configure output>

dev $ grep HAVE_DL include/net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h
#define HAVE_DLOPEN 1
#define HAVE_DLFCN_H 1
