Hi,

many thanks, no, for the moment, nessus is doing just fine without 
UPD-portscans.

Unfortunately, in a series of scans, a lot of printer devices, especially from
HP with buildin NICs were knocked-out by the scan. Does somebody has some
reccomendations for setting up the timing parameters of nessus, so that this
possibly slow devices has a chance to survive the scan?

I wrote a small scanner which will probably not be integrated in the
main tree. I sent it to the plugin-writers mailing list. I can send it
to you if you want it.
