Hi,
There are already so many feature requests listed in Niki, I wanted to
ask other people's opinion before adding another one. Hopefully, the
developers will see a lot of interest and bump this request up... :)

I'd like to request that the "Open File" dialog be enhanced with the
options to open a file in read-only mode (a checkbox), a specific
language mode (a drop-down list?) and of course the ever popular "open
more then 1 file" :)
A list of favourite directories (which can be edited) from which to
choose the file/s would also be nice...
What do yo'all think?

* Side question - can any of the above be done with a macro?

Features requests in general - 
Can the developers/project leaders provide a way to vote for feature
requests? Maybe something along the lines of Vim's Cash-for-Votes
would work?

Obviously, the developers, being volunteers, will work on what they
find interesting. But maybe a developer finds several features
interesting, and from those maybe us users could help him/her decide
on which to work :-)
