Summary: No Backspace in Replace Dialog
Initial Comment:
I use the RC2 binary on SuSE 9.1 displaying on Exceed
6.2.0.24. Backspace works fine in the text widget, but
does not work in the replace dialog or most other Motif
text fields I checked. It does work in the FSB's text
fields though.

Found some:
*Text.Translations: #override \n ~Shift ~Meta ~Alt <Key>Delete: delete-next-character
() \n
*AxeText.Translations: #override \n ~Shift ~Meta ~Alt <Key>Delete: delete-next-character
() \n
*XmText.Translations: #override \n ~Shift ~Meta ~Alt <Key>Delete: delete-next-character
() \n ~Shift ~Meta ~Alt <Key>osfDelete: delete-next-
character() \n ~Shift ~Meta ~Alt <Key>osfBackSpace: delete-previous-
character() \n
*XmTextField.Translations: #augment \n ~Shift ~Meta ~Alt <Key>osfDelete: delete-next-
character() \n ~Shift ~Meta ~Alt <Key>osfBackSpace: delete-previous-
character() \n
Looks good to me, is anything wrong?

No problem running 5.5RC2 on SuSE (SLES) 9 (amd64). Looking
for a 9.1 around here.
(You'd run the command "appres" to dump any stray resources.)

Not set by me. What command do I have to call to check?

I see this a lot. Do you have a stray "XmText.translations"
(or XmTextField) resource that tries to swap backspace
anywhere?
