To reproduce:
Open nedit. Chose "Print" from the file menu. Chose
"Print" from the file menu again. Press cancel in the
topmost dialog box. Press cancel in the remaining
dialog box. Only the first dialog canceled will
disappear, the other will remain on screen when you
press its "Cancel" button.

Can't just ignore it. Lesstif is supported by NEdit.

This is an very old Lesstif issue. the print dialog is
intended to be
modal, but under Lesstif it is not.
