Hello all,

I have been using mythtv on a Mythbuntu HP Microserver for a few years
now. Just recently when I tried to watch live TV or recorded video, I
noticed the video looked like it was being fast-forwarded and there is
no sound.

It was working perfectly for many months but something has happened
recently to change all this.

I have logged into the server and updated Mythbuntu (including a
"sudo apt-get dist-upgrade"). My local Arch Linux PC has also been
updated but still the video plays too fast. I can slow it down and speed
it up using U and J but normal speed is the fastest!

I have tried "mythfrontend -v --loglevel debug --logpath
/home/john/mythtv-logs --geometry 1900x1060" and have obtained a large
log file. There doesn't seem to be much to go on:

I have Mythling installed on my Android device and it can play the
videos back correctly. This makes me think it is to do with my Linux PC
frontend??
