Looks like the mythbuntu package hasn't been updated since late January.
dpkg -l | grep "mythtv-frontend"
ii mythtv-frontend 2:0.27.0
+fixes.20140128.f1e620c-0ubuntu0mythbuntu3 amd64 Personal
video recorder application (client)
I guess I should be looking for a more up-to-date repository?
