I have the WinTV 401 dbx Stereo card running with
RedHat 8.  I capture audio off of the WinTV card
using the btaudio drivers.  My sound out goes to the
sound card using the Alsa drivers in Redhat 8.
I don't know why the OSS drivers wouldn't work
with the btaudio.  There's a lot of info on this
forum about getting the btaudio drivers working.

This is really the only was to get multiple tuner
cards working.  Otherwise, you need to add a 
sound card for every tuner card.
