That's why I mentioned the "system performance", and no, there's no
problem running mysql on windows "no server" (whatever that means...
no services? not nt like (xp, 2000, nt)?). I mantained a server with
win98se running cool for almost 3 months, with thousands of daily
connections and the max concurrent of 15, so, there's no problem with
it, yes, you run into problems when the power goes and all this stuff,
besides you have some system instability, but that's just because
later win OS need huge machine power to run, and that alone makes them
more trustable.
