Hello all,

I am suddenly having a problem with MySQL server, after bring it up, =
trying to connect to it. I recieve the the following errors:
  1 - MySQL Administrator and MySQLCC I get the following message:
    MySQL Error Nr. 2003
    Can't connect to MySQL Server on '127.0.0.1(10061)
  2 -  In my Java programs I get basically the same error:
        Java.netConnection: Connection Refused; Connect
I suspect that it is not finding the MySQL JDBC jar file. Reason being =
that some of the SQL calls, in may java code, are not found so can't =
compile. They are: GetSQLState()and GetErrorCode().

I do not understand. I did get ride of a lot of duplicate JDK's and =
JDevelopers and it happened since then. The MySQL Administrator and =
MySQLCC should not be affected. The =
mysql-connector-java-3.1.1-alpha-bin.jar file is in the classpath and in =
the JRE extensions folder. The only reason may be both the MySQL =
Administrator and MySQLCC, when installed took a pointer to one of the =
JDK's I deleted.

Also, when I start the MySQL server the icon has a red light and not a =
green one.

This has halted my coding. I could really use some better insight than =
mine.
