ic ... I must admit that I have never downloaded the binary distribution
because I thought it was not MSVC used as a compiler and I wanted to avoid
compatibility issues for my own apps, which are 100% made with MSVC for
Windows O$

But then I really I would like to know why that Cygwin DLLs are part of the
binary distribution? I certainly do not need them when I am using my
binaries derived from the source distribution.
