Yes. unixODBC works well.

The problem is that I have a commercial package (Stata 9) that links to
libiodbc.so (i.e. iODBC driver manager). There's a few of my posts
sprinkled around regarding the misadventures with MyODBC (or whatever it's
called now) and iODBC.

Thankfully the old 2.5 series MyODBC driver works with iODBC; the newer
MyODBC 3.51 versions did not.
