Subject:    connection from sql server to mysql

1.	Is it possible to connect from ms sql server to my sql server
using my obdc?
2.	I think that I have the settings on the my odbc dsn connector
config ok, however, I'm getting the error:

Driver lost connection to mysql server during query

 

Note; on the mysql server there is a file 

.my.cnf 

 

I think that I might need to add an entry to that file so that I can
connect from the ms sql server.

Any suggestions?
